2020R2 HIGHLIGHT: WORKDAY® DISCOVERY BOARDS ARE HERE!

What are Discovery Boards and why are they one of the top functionality updates of the most recent Workday release?
Workday Introduced Discovery Boards to all Workday customers in this past release, 2020R2. Discovery Boards are an analysis tool where users can drag and drop data points to graphically

display data in visualizations. This gives Workday users the ability to create visualizations in a way similar to tools like Tableau, Qlikview or Excel. The format is similar to a typical Workday dashboard and the data is based off of a Workday Worksheet.

Currently the discovery boards can only be built on Workday delivered data sources (unless a customer has purchased Workday Prism). Here is the great news, the level of effort to get Discovery Boards up and running in a Workday tenant is low. Even lower for customers who are already using Workday Worksheets.
